Wish and Valentine Jewelry

So....since I'm so broad and can't stick to one kind of thing, some of my jewelry don't include polymer clay.  I love trying new things!  Always expect something different!

I collected dandelions for these bottles, and boy was it messy!  I made the mistake of putting them in my jacket pockets and they got all stuck to the fibers of the jacket.  I won't be making that mistake again!

I know that this necklace isn't exactly original.... but I wanted to make it.  Sometimes, its nice and comforting to make something somewhat cliche.

I saw this box pendant at Michael's...and I just had to get it.  It was the coolest thing ever....I had no idea that necklace pendants existed that were little metal boxes that opened up. Who knew! I then looked up on the internet "box necklace"  and found out that its not uncommon after all.  Its called wish box/prayer box.

I just had to add a few little things to it :)  I love Swarovski crystals and wish I could use them more often but they are just to pricey.  When my shop gets bigger I will have lots of Swarovski crystals!!

I was going to put something inside the box.....buuuuut I went against it.  Its up to the buyer what will go inside!

I also made some more valentine themed necklaces:

This is the first time I've made a macaron out of polymer clay.  It was tough considering I've never seen one in person.  Making it made me want to try one even more.  I hope to have one some day because they look so delicious!
This one is french bread themed. Also a first time making this kind of bread.  i know I have some improvements to make, but I like how it turned out!
This one did so well...it sold within a couple hours! Imagine that!  I can always make more upon request though!  I'm too lazy right now to make another...because I'm on a completely different project.  I used glass beads for the seeds. Worked out pretty well!

Right now I'm trying something... I don't want to say what it is in fear that it turns out badly...but you will find out soon enough if it turns out ok!  If it does it will be amazing!!!!

Mirror Love Necklace Series

So this time I decided to make a series.   It was fun putting a story to each pendant, and a theme.  I'm going to try and do this more in the future.   It actually all started from a mistake with one of the mirrors, but I made lemonade out of lemons! :)

"Romantic Love" https://www.etsy.com/listing/122350224/antique-bronze-rose-mirror-necklace-love

"Give love a chance" https://www.etsy.com/listing/122349271/antique-bronze-rose-mirror-necklace-love

"Winter Love" (my favorite!) https://www.etsy.com/listing/122350817/antique-bronze-rose-mirror-necklace-love

New Items

So I've been doing keys now! Its so fun trying new things.  So far, I love it.  I don't really have a lot I can do with polymer clay and keys....  but I'm fine with keeping it simple.  Looks better that way, in my opinion.  If anyone has any ideas, you are welcome to message me them!

I also did a sculpture for my soon to be brother in law, of an elephant.  It turned out so good!  I was afraid I'd mess up the texture...but I think it worked out.  Texturing is my favorite part of a sculpture/polymer clay piece.  Cakes, and fur are my absolute favorite.  Its tedious, monotonous work, but I think that's why I like it so much.

He decided to name the elephant Quasimodo for some reason...don't ask me why... but he did.  Quasi is 2 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide.  I'd love to commission any kind of animal, so if you have one you'd like me to do, let me know! I'd be more than  happy!

At the moment, I'm working on some amazing mirror necklaces...and they should be up on Etsy tomorrow.  I'm pretty excited about them. They turned out beautiful.   So keep your eyes open!  If one is sold out, I'd be happy to remake one or even do a custom one!

Also somewhere in the near future I will have some tutorials up, for you guys who wanna learn how to make polymer clay jewelry!
